A very rapid growing, semi-columnar shaped poplar which grows 3 to 8 feet per year, to 70 feet tall, and with a crown spread of 20 feet. Crown is very dense making it an excellent choice for wind protection. Less susceptable to disease than other poplars, thus longer lived. Plant below 6500 foot elevations.
