A medium to rapid growing tree which will reach heights of 30-40 feet. Young branches have an attractive golden or yellow color and all branches tend to droop giving a semi-weeping effect. Desires moist or wet sites, such as stream banks or swampy lands for best development. Tolerant of alkaline soils. Planting above 6000 feet is not recommended.
