A medium size tree native to southern Arizona and New Mexico. It has juniper-like foliage and can reach heights of 50-60 feet. This tree has a dense, conical crown and furrowed fibrous bark. It prefers hot sites, has low water requirements, and is moderately salt tolerant. Plant only in southern half of Utah.
